Souvlaki Corner sets opening date for new Greek restaurant and takeaway in Morley, Leeds
The site was originally targeting a late-April opening but was hit by short delay.
A popular Greek restaurant and takeaway has set confirmed the opening date of its highly-anticipated site in south Leeds.
Souvlaki Corner, which has become a fan-favourite in nearby Wortley, is set to open its new and expanded site on Queen Street, Morley on Sunday, June 7.
Open from 11am to 9pm, the grand opening will include live Greek music from 5pm, and a free Chicken Gyros Wrap for anyone who shares and tags their Facebook post.

Originating from Greece, the site’s chef will bring authentic knowledge and experience of their homeland.
A company spokesperson said: “Since launching our first location, the response from customers has been fantastic, and Morley felt like the natural next step as we continue to grow.
“We’re really looking forward to becoming part of the Morley community and welcoming both new customers and those who already know us from our existing site.”
Known for its authentic Greek street food, the new Souvlaki Corner will be a larger space, offering plenty of seating, with both dine-in and takeaway options, as well as a bar area.
One of the highlights of the new restaurant will be a traditional Greek spit, cooked over charcoal to give the authentic Greek flavour that people would experience in Greece. The interior design will also reflect the style of the Greek islands, so when people visit they will feel like they are stepping into a little part of Greece.
