Customers queued down Farsley Town Street today to get a tasty first look at a new branch of an award-winning Leeds sandwich shop.
Silver’s Deli, the Bramley-based eatery which shot to national fame after being crowned Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year in 2025, officially opened its sister site dedicated to baked goods today.
Customers and fans have been eagerly awaiting the new venture, named Silver’s Bakehouse, since it was first announced a year ago.
Owner Chris Riley teased the opening on social media, describing the project as a long-awaited move driven by his love of baking.
The Yorkshire Evening Post photographer was there this afternoon to capture the queues after the doors opened to the public.
Silver’s Deli first opened in 2023 and quickly built a loyal following thanks to its stacked sandwiches and strong community feel, becoming a cult favourite in Leeds. Recently culinary giant Marco Pierre White swung by the Bramley shop.
