Last June, she decided to branch her business out and create Wakefield’s first bake shed on Waterton Road.

Following its success, Donna has now announced Wakefield’s first ‘cake caravan’ – which will open next month.

"We knew we wanted something different in terms of expanding,” Donna explained.

"We were the first cake shed so why not be the first cake van!”

From the caravan, Donna will sell a range of her bakes which include brownies, blondies and cookies.

She also plans to take the caravan to events across the region.

Donna continued: "I cannot thank the community of Wakefield for their continued support – every sale means the absolute world to me!”

The caravan will open on May 8, with the first ten customers receiving a free goodie bag.
