Writing on Instagram, the team shared: "Wax is moving!!! That's right folks, our time on New Briggate is coming to an end.
For 15 years, many a drink we have drunk, many a dance we have shared, many a hangover we have nursed... so let’s keep that going in our new home."
The news triggered an outpouring of affection from local drinkers and music fans in the comments, with one customer noting: "So many memories, will forever have a very special place in my heart," while another added: "Change is good! Long live Wax Bar."
