Location is a key consideration when it comes to buying a new home.

But as the popularity of specific areas ebbs and flows over time, it can be difficult to keep track of where it is hot right now.

Luckily, data from TheAdvisory, the UK’s oldest advice and support resource for home sellers, reveals where it is easiest to sell your home.

They’ve produced a heatmap which gives 27 Leeds postcodes a temperature score based on levels of buyer demand, updated for August 2026.

The hotter an area, the easier it is to sell a property.

Contrastingly, cooler areas are good locations for prospective buyers as there is reduced competition.

But remember, as the market fluctuates, a postcode’s ranking can regularly change.
