The dogs, who are all being cared for at the rehoming centre in York Road, include both youngsters and elderly hounds looking for the perfect retirement homes.
This month our round-up includes the beautiful Bella, who is an ex-racing greyhound, and the cheeky little Lilo, who at just six months wants to find a home she can grow up in.
Dogs Trust volunteers work closely with members of the public and wardens to rehome pups in need. Here are 10 of the dogs up for adoption this month –

1. Albie
Albie is a two-year-old Patterdale Terrier who is looking for a home with someone who likes to go on lots of outdoor adventures. This pooch loves a good walk and greets every dog he meets with a waggy tail and lots of sniffing. At home, he loves a big post walk snooze, and will happily do anything for a treat (or two). This friendly pooch can sometimes get a little bit nervous, and is looking for a calm home where he can settle in gently. He loves to make doggy friends, but would like to be the only pooch in the home, and he would be happy to live with secondary school aged children who can give him a little bit of space to get to know his surroundings at first. | Leeds Dogs Trust

2. CJ
CJ is a nine-year-old Bichon Frise who was found as a stray in a terrible condition. Thankfully, she has overcome this and is now looking for a calm and quiet retirement home to settle down in. CJ is a sweetheart, who is so full of love and affection, and is sure to be a favourite in the home. CJ is looking for a quiet, rural, adult-only home where she can stay away from the stress of seeing other dogs, and potter about in her own time. | Leeds Dogs Trust

3. Bunsen
This 18-month-old pooch loves his long country walks and being social with his four-legged friends. He is very friendly and loves a good old fuss, almost as much as he loves playing with tennis balls. Due to his tough start to life, Bunsen is quite cautious of traffic and loud noise, so is hoping to find a calm, relaxing, rural home where he can settle in at his own pace. This pooch would be happy to share his home with older kids who are happy to give him space to chill out when he needs it, and Bunsen would love to live with a well mannered dog who can help show him the ropes. | Leeds Dogs Trust

4. Jess
Jess is a gorgeous one-year-old German Shepherd Crossbreed who has had a tough start to life, and is looking for a loving forever home. Jess can be very worried by the world, and is hoping to find owners with a calm, predictable routine, who are happy to make the effort to get to know her and slowly transition her into a forever home. Jess loves to be around other dogs, and they really help boost her confidence. Because of this, she needs to find a forever home with a great role model pooch who can help her understand life in a home. Although it may take a few meets to get Jess’s confidence, once you do, you’ll see just how playful and affectionate she is. | Leeds Dogs Trust

5. Bella
Bella is a beautiful five-year-old ex-racing Greyhound. She is a sweet, loving girl who is looking to slowly build a relationship with her humans before showing them her true character. Once you’re in her inner circle, you’ll see just how playful, interactive and loving she is. Bella is looking for an adult online home where she can be the only pet, but this pooch loves to make four-legged friends when out on her walks. She loves a fuss from her trusted friends, and once she knows you, will come out of her shell. | Leeds Dogs Trust

6. Fennel
Fennel is a stunning six-year-old Alaskan Malamute, who once you get to know him will form a strong bond with you. This large boy is a big friendly giant, who in the right adult only home will come out of his shell and show you just how affectionate he can be. He is looking to be the only pet in the home, and is hoping that his adopters will have a space big enough on their sofa for this big, fluffy giant to snuggle up with you. | Leeds Dogs Trust
