The summer months are traditionally an incredibly busy time for animal shelters across West Yorkshire, and the team at GoodLife Dog Rescue are working tirelessly to find matching sofas for the influx of unwanted, abandoned, and bereaved strays in their care.
The charity prides itself on fighting for the underdogs - frequently stepping in to rescue bull breeds, senior pairs, and large crossbreeds from local council pounds just hours before they face being put to sleep.
From inseparable mother-and-son duos to playful young puppies with mountains of love to give, the kennels are currently full of vibrant characters who deserve a second chance at a happy life.
We have rounded up 17 beautiful dogs currently waiting for a breakthrough at GoodLife, across 14 separate listings.
If you have the time, patience, and space for a rescue hound, take a look through the gallery below to see if you could offer one of these deserving souls their perfect summer forever home.
