Spring is officially in full swing, and while the flowers are blooming across Leeds, the team at the Cats Protection Leeds Cat Centre in Gildersome is busy playing matchmaker.
Finding a new pet a home during these milder months is the perfect ‘sweet spot’ for owners, allowing plenty of time to get a new arrival comfortable before the summer heat and holiday season kick in.
The current residents at the Gildersome centre range from tiny kittens found abandoned in the wild to dignified seniors looking for a quiet place to spend their retirement.
Whether you are looking for an ‘air biscuit’ expert like Beanz or a strikingly handsome companion like Maverick, there is a feline friend for every type of household.
Here are 13 cats currently looking for a second chance in Leeds.
1. Beanz - Domestic Short Hair (1 year)
A former stray who is famous for making "air biscuits" with his paws when he is feeling happy and safe. He is a gentle soul who just needs a patient owner willing to give him a second chance at a forever home. His sweet nature has really started to shine through now that he knows he is in a safe environment. | Cats Protection
