Dogs Trust Leeds is seeking loving homes for a fantastic group of rescue dogs this month, ranging from energetic young Lurchers to gentle senior companions.
Whether you are looking for an active adventure partner or a calm, snuggly dog to relax with on the sofa, the rehoming centre has a wide variety of personalities waiting for a second chance.
Each of these dogs comes with their own unique traits, and the dedicated staff at the centre are working hard to match them with the right adopters to ensure a seamless transition into home life.
Here are seven rescue dogs currently waiting at the Leeds centre for their forever families

1. Nuche (3)
Nuche is a smart, playful 3-year-old Lurcher cross who can be initially shy before showing his snuggly side. Fully house-trained, he makes friends on walks but must be the only pet in a calm, adult-only home with a steady routine. | Dogs Trust Leeds

2. Gino (4)
Gino is an affectionate 4-year-old Lurcher who loves adventures, meeting new people, and receiving belly rubs. Full of bounce and zest for life, he will make a wonderful companion for adopters happy to support his ongoing socialisation with other dogs. | Dogs Trust Leeds

3. Will (7)
Will is a sweet, high-energy 7-year-old Labrador Cross who greets everyone with wiggles and a wagging tail. He loves playing with squeaky toys, learns quickly, and needs an active, adult-only home where he can be the sole pet. | Dogs Trust Leeds

4. Jupiter (7)
Karl is a beautiful 7-year-old Pomeranian Crossbreed who is making great progress after a difficult start in life. Naturally nervous around new faces and places, he needs a patient, understanding home where his loving nature can safely shine. | Dogs Trust Leeds

5. Teddy (7)
