The dogs, who are all being cared for at the rehoming centre in York Road, include both youngsters and elderly hounds looking for the perfect retirement homes.
The dedicated team have already rehomed a staggering 457 dogs so far this year - a figure that is already outpacing last year.
This month, our round-up includes Gary, the gorgeous one-year-old Saluki Collie Crossbreed, and 11-year-old Hugo the Jack Russell who is looking for a calm new home.

1. Simba
Simba is a very handsome three-year-old ex-racing Greyhound who is looking for his first and forever home. He is friendly and enjoys plenty of gentle fuss but likes to get to know you a little more before he shows his true character. In true Greyhound style he spends most of his time lounging on his bed! Simba will make a wonderful pet. He really enjoys his walkies and having a good sniff. As he prefers a quiet life he’ll need an adult only home, but he's quite dog social so could potentially share his home with a similar dog. | Leeds Dogs Trust

2. Zeebee
Zebee is a stunning two-year-old Dutch Shepherd who was found as a stray. Being abandoned has left him quite anxious so he's very shy initially, but with time will show you just how affectionate and loving he can be. He loves to fetch tennis balls and really comes alive when you join in with him. He is looking to be the only pet in an adult-only home where he can soak up all of the attention. | Leeds Dogs Trust

3. Gary
Meet Gary, the gorgeous one-year-old Saluki Collie Crossbreed. This friendly boy loves a good bum scratch, is friendly with other dogs and has a very snuggly nature. He can be a little bit nervous in new places but soon settles in with a little time and patience. Gary loves other dogs and would happily live with another pooch in an adult only home. Gary is looking for owners who can hep him with his training as he settles in, but with consistency and by letting him take things at his own pace, he will blossom. | Leeds Dogs Trust

4. Charlie
Charlie is a lovely little 10-year-old Bichon Frise, who is looking for her forever home. She is super affectionate and loves to snuggle on the sofa. Charlie is a friendly dog, who loves to make friends with humans and dogs alike. Charlie is almost completely blind, so is looking for calm and patient owners who can give her the peaceful adult only home she is desperate for. Whilst she can’t see, her nose works overtime, and she loves sniffing everything she comes across. | Leeds Dogs Trust

5. Hugo
Old-Aged-Pooch Hugo is an 11-year-old Jack Russell who is looking for a calm new home where he can settle in at his own pace. This boy can be shy and worried by new people and places, so is hoping his new home will be understanding of this and show him the ropes at his own pace. Hugo can get spooked easily, but would be happy to live with older children, although is looking to be the only dog in the home. Once settled, this pooch loves a snuggle, and loves to sit on your lap. | Leeds Dogs Trust

6. Oakley
Oakley is a beautiful two-year-old Lurcher who is looking for her forever home. She is a very friendly pooch, who after a few meets, will treat you like you’ve been friends forever. This pooch loves her toys, is always keen to play and learn new things. Oakley is looking for a home where she can settle in at her own pace, grow in confidence, and learn how to be a pooch in the home. She would be happy living with older children who are confident around big dogs but would like to be the only pooch in the home. | Leeds Dogs Trust
