A new guacamole chip & dip has launched just in time for picnic season
If there’s one thing Brits love as much as a rare spell of sunshine, it’s a good picnic - and now there’s a brand-new snack pot vying for a spot in your basket.
Just as the UK gears up for a sizzling spell of spring sunshine, Holy Moly, the beloved British dip brand behind those guacamoles (and other dips), has launched its first-ever Guacamole Chip & Dip snack pot.
The timing couldn’t be better. Whether you're heading to the park, beach, or even just grabbing a bite on your commute, this tasty two-part treat is set to become your go-to warm-weather snack.
Available now in over 900 Sainsbury’s stores for £1.85, and included in the supermarket’s popular meal deal, the snack pot pairs Holy Moly’s signature creamy guac with crunchy salted tortilla chips.
But this isn’t your average convenience snack. The guac is made with six natural ingredients you’d actually find in your kitchen: avocado, tomato, red onion, jalapeño, coriander, and lime juice. No preservatives. No nasties. Just fresh-tasting flavour you’d expect from something homemade.
Next stop…WHSmith Travel stores from 28th June and onboard LNER trains from 11th June, so even rail passengers can dip into something delicious.

With forecasters predicting the warmest May in years, the Holy Moly launch couldn’t be more seasonally on point. Picnics are officially back on the agenda and according to retail analysts Mintel, consumers are increasingly looking for healthier, better-quality snacks to take with them. A whopping 52% say they’re willing to pay more for snacks made with top-notch ingredients, while 45% are prioritising health when it comes to what goes in their baskets.
