Travel experts predict European dates will trigger a new wave of British ‘gig trippers’.

British Oasis fans are expected to fuel a hotel booking boom across Europe, after the band announced its much-anticipated 2027 tour, according to industry experts. With the Oasis tour confirmed across mainland Europe, concert goers can expect 38 shows across 11 cities, including Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris and Rome, with tickets on sale from Friday.

It comes as major concerts are increasingly influencing where people choose to travel. The leading hybrid accommodation brand Generator recorded significant booking spikes during the Oasis reunion tour last year, with occupancy at Generator London increasing by as much as 15% around their Wembley shows.

The trend continues across Europe, and during BTS’ Madrid dates this summer, Generator Madrid saw three times as many beds booked and almost four times as many private rooms sold compared with the previous year, while private room occupancy more than doubled around Bad Bunny's Barcelona shows. In Paris, the Weeknd tour throughout July 2026 saw increases in occupancy at Generator Paris of up to 16.6% compared to 2025, while David Guetta’s gigs in June 2026 saw occupancy levels increase by up to 13.6% compared to the same time last year.

The trend is also reflected across the wider music industry. Figures from UK Music show 24.7 million music tourists travelled to concerts and festivals in the UK in 2025, up 5% year-on-year, while their spending rose more than twice as quickly, jumping 11.3% to £11.2 billion. If the booking patterns seen around major concerts continue, Oasis’ 2027 European tour could provide another example of live music influencing not just where people go, but how they plan their trips.

Annajane Guzel, VP of marketing at Generator, said: “We saw first-hand the impact Oasis had on demand during their reunion tour last year, with 15% increase in occupancy at Generator London compared to 2025. Now that they’re heading into cities across mainland Europe, we expect to see the same effect again.

"The absence of a London date is expected to further fuel the growing “gig tripping” trend we have seen over the past couple of years, and British fans will be looking at these dates not just as an opportunity to see Oasis, but as an excuse for a weekend away.”

With houses in Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris and Rome, Generator offers more than just a place to stay, with social spaces for guests and locals to meet, creating a natural base for fans.
