Convicted Leeds paedophile made sickening roleplay comments to 13-year-old girl
Pervert was already on court order for similar offending
A paedophile targeted what he thought was a 13-year-old girl online, sent her pictures of his genitals and made vile incestuous comments.
Michael Shufflebotham had little idea he was talking to a decoy profile set up by a paedophile hunter group, Leeds Crown Court heard.
The 42-year-old was already on a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) imposed in May, 2024, after he tried to groom a previous girl online.

The court heard that on April 9 this year, Shufflebotham used a pseudonym to contact the profile over social media.
He quickly turned the conversation sexual, telling the girl to call him “daddy”, while he referred to her as “daughter”.
He asked for photos and sent her pictures of his genitals, asking her if she wanted phone sex.
He video called the profile while he was pleasuring himself. He told the supposed girl that he wanted to get her pregnant and “teach her about sex”.
Having been arrested, Shufflebotham, of Fairfax Avenue, Drighlington, later admitted two offences of attempting to engage in sexual activity in the presence of a child, and a charge of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
Mitigating, Shannon Woodley said: “In terms of why it happened, ultimately, he does not know.”
She said he felt isolated and was looking for a legal relationship online, but after the 13-year-old’s profile became apparent , he was “not able to stop himself”.
She said he felt very ashamed and “feels like he has let everyone down”.
Judge Neil Clark conceded Shufflebotham has alcohol issues and had a difficult childhood.
He jailed him for 16 months, gave him a new 10-year SHPO and put him on the sex offender register for 10 years.
