Dealer had tiny baby in the car as he sold drugs around Castleford
He was found guilty after trial
A dealer had a tiny baby in his car as he was out selling drugs, a court heard.
Lee Campy was found to be dealing in amphetamine after thousands of pounds worth were found stashed at his home.
Following a trial at Leeds Crown Court in July, the 49-year-old was found guilty of dealing in a Class B drugs and possessing criminal property.
Prosecutor Shannon Woodley said police had seen Campy in a car parked outside shops on Airedale Road in Castleford in the early hours of the morning on December 7, 2022.
A woman was also in the car along with her seven-week-old baby.

Officers noticed a plastic bag in the driver’s side door which contained wraps of amphetamine. There was also £145 in cash.
They then searched his home and found around £9,000 worth of amphetamine in his freezer.
Campy gave a no-comment interview. He has 28 previous convictions for 58 offences, including four for possessing drugs.
Mitigating, Jo Shepherd said that Campy, of Kendal Close, Castleford, accepted he had a lot of amphetamine.
The court heard that he was a user of the drug.
The judge, the Recorder of Leeds Guy Kearl KC jailed Campy for 15 months.
He said that having spent seven months on remand, it would be likely Campy would be freed on licence imminently.
