Evil Leeds paedophile threatened young girl into silence over sickening abuse campaign
A paedophile who singled out an 11-year-old girl and threatened her into silence has been handed an extended jail sentence.
Sick Daniel Render eventually admitted a string of sex offences against the youngster across a number of years.
In that time, the 32-year-old would touch the youngster, putting his hand under her clothes, Leeds Crown Court heard.
He would touch her genitals and on one occasion he kissed her by putting his tongue in her mouth.

He threatened her not to tell anyone. But the girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, did eventually disclose the abuse.
In an impact statement, read out by prosecutor Nick Peacock, the girl said she no longer trusts males and was left terrified to tell anyone in case she was not believed.
Render, of Foundry Mill Drive, Seacroft, was arrested but refused to answer police questions.
He eventually admitted four counts of assault on a child under 13, attempting to assault a child under 13 by penetration and one count of voyeurism after he recorded the girl.
Mitigating, Charlotte Baines said Render had no previous convictions and did plead guilty, sparing the victim from having to give evidence.
She said he had an “encouraging insight” into his offending and realises it was “totally unacceptable”.
She added that he had issues with drugs and alcohol which he has addressed during his time on remand.
The judge, Recorder Catherine Silverton told Render his best mitigation were his guilty pleas.
She said she could see in his body language at the shame he felt, but added: “And so you should.”
She gave him a total sentence of seven years and six months, made up of six years and six months’ custody, and a one -year extended licence period.
He was given a lifelong sexual harm prevention order and put on the sex offender register for life.
