The latest police data, published on Leeds Observatory, details every recorded incident of theft from the person across the city between July 2025 and June 2026.

The crime category covers offences where items such as mobile phones, wallets, purses, or bags are stolen directly from a victim without the use or threat of violence.

A total of 1,069 offences of this nature were recorded across Leeds during the 12-month window.

These are the 15 Leeds neighbourhoods with the highest number of recorded personal theft offences, ranked in descending order.
