Leeds man jailed for violent disorder and becomes 34th person convicted over Harehills unrest
A man has become the 34th person to be convicted for his part in the widespread disorder in Harehills last summer.
Rica Palaghia, 42, of Gledhow Terrace, Leeds, was sentenced to three years at Leeds Crown Court today after admitting an offence of violent disorder.

The offence took place during the evening of July 18 last year.
The disorder erupted after police and social workers arrived at a house to remove children into care.
West Yorkshire Police said officers from the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team have been conducting wide ranging investigations into the disorder, using all technological tools available to investigators.
The force said detectives have made 86 arrests with 43 people charged as part of the ongoing investigation.
In a statement West Yorkshire Police said: “Senior officers have pledged the force will continue to do all it can to identify and bring all those responsible for the disorder to justice.”
