Leeds man denies killing two teenage passengers through dangerous driving after Audi hit telegraph pole
A man has denied dangerous driving after a car ploughed into a telegraph pole, killing two teenage passengers.
Marcio Domingos appeared at Leeds Crown Court this morning where he formally entered not-guilty pleas on two counts of causing death by dangerous driving in Leeds in September 2023.
The 24-year-old also denied causing serious injury to a third passenger.
A trial date has been set for September 3, 2028
Domingos, of South Farm Road, Gipton, was granted bail.

The Audi A3 veered out of control and struck the pole on the A6120 Ring Road at Meanwood, near to the junction with Parkside Road, in the early hours of September 29, 2023.
Polite Moyo, 18, and Mayar Eldessouky, 19, died at the scene, while the third teenager was rushed to hospital in a critical condition, but survived.
Following the fatal crash the family of Polite Moyo issued a tribute, saying he was a “lovely, handsome gentleman”.
The tribute read: “Anyone who knew him knows he was caring and giving to everyone.
“Polite had a pure and beautiful soul and never failed to bring a smile to people’s faces. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.”
Domingos was not charged in relation to the deaths until January of this year.
