Those plates had been stolen from a grey Seat Leon in Flax Place, Leeds, shortly before the burglary.

Detective Inspector Richard Holmes, of Leeds District CID, said: “The car used by the offenders remains outstanding and we would like to hear from anyone who has seen it at any time since it was stolen yesterday morning.

“We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and want to speak to anyone who has any information that could assist the investigation, or is aware of any laptops or electronic keyboards being offered for sale in suspicious circumstances.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Leeds District CID via 101 quoting crime reference 13190599248 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
