Paedophile performed sex act in his car at Garforth Lidl car park
A convicted paedophile who was seen masturbating in a supermarket car park has been locked up.
Police were called after a horrified shopper spotted Martyn Pridmore in the back seat of his car in Garforth.
Sex toys and viagra were also found in the boot of the vehicle on his arrest.
It was later found that the 31-year-old had been trading sickening images and videos with other paedophiles online.
He was jailed at Leeds Crown Court this week.
Pridmore was given a 12-month jail sentence in January last year for making indecent images of children and sexually assaulting a child under 13.
He was given a 10-year sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) to monitor his internet use.
Pridmore was seen in his car outside the Garforth supermarket at around 9am on December 14 last year.
He was parked in the electric-charging bays at Lidl.
When officers arrived, they found him fumbling with his trousers.
Along with the sex toys, they also found a phone which he had not registered with police, putting him in breach of his SHPO.
They also found indecent images and a Category A video - the most serious - that he had sent to another paedophile online.
He had “tampered” with the video to “make it more disgusting”, and sent a voice note to the recipient about what he had done.
He had also sent a Category B image.
Pridmore, of Sitka Drive, Shrewsbury, gave a no-comment interview to police.

He admitted distributing images, making indecent images and breach of his SHPO.
Mitigating, Tonicha Allen said he had gone to the supermarket to charge his car. She said he admitted the offences at the earliest opportunity.
Judge Geoffrey Marson KC told him: “You were on licence and you continued to take drugs which increases your sexual gratification.
“You clearly have a sexual interest in children.”
He jailed him for three years, and activated six months of his suspended sentence, taking it to 42 months’ jail overall.
