Predatory Leeds rapist who took schoolgirl off the street told: 'I hope you rot in prison'
Girl speaks out after being enticed into pervert’s car
A “dangerous” paedophile who took a young girl from the street and took her to premises to abuse her has been jailed.
Omarie Adams took the 13-year-old, who was wearing a school uniform jumper, in broad daylight in September last year.
The 34-year-old was found guilty after a trial of four counts of rape, one count of assault by penetration and one count of sexual assault.
He was sentenced today to an extended 20-year sentence at Leeds Crown Court this morning.

In a victim impact statement, the girl said: “This will affect my future because the incident has affected my self-worth and my belief in myself.
“I have recurring thoughts that I am useless. This is because I believe the suspect saw me as some cheap tat on the road that he could do whatever he wanted with. This is something I overthink about a lot.
“I have supported this investigation because I want the suspect to be locked away so that he faces justice and knows he cannot get away with what he has done and won’t go on to do this to someone else.
“Omarie Adams has taken away my dignity. This is not something I will ever get back. I hope he rots in prison.”
The court heard that she was left in physical pain after the ordeal, unable to cope and “struggling to move forward”.
Adams, who was a stranger to the victim, was driving a BMW when he came across the girl sat on the kerb.
He enticed her into his car, despite her being fearful. He drove her to premises in Leeds where he sexually abused her for a period of two hours.
He claimed during the three-day trial that he had not noticed the victim was wearing her school jumper.
Adams, of Second Avenue, Armley, was identified after police conducted enquiries into the telephone number he provided to the victim after the ordeal.
The victim also provided an incredibly detailed and accurate description of the suspect.
Judge Andrew Stubbs KC said a report into Adams found he was a risk to females, had entrenched attitudes towards women and had “limited empathy and distorted beliefs”.
He handed him a 13-year custodial sentence with a seven-year extended licence period, to signify his dangerousness.
He was also put on the sex offender register for life.
Following sentence, police praised the bravery, determination and resolve shown by the teenage victim.
Detective Constable Ellie Middlemass, who was the officer in case, said: “Adams subjected a vulnerable young girl to hours of atrocious abuse, and this has understandably had a significant impact on her life.
“Following a detailed investigation, helped enormously by the detail and consistency provided by the victim, Adams was charged and has now been convicted of a number of very serious offences.
“I would like to recognise the immense bravery, determination and resolve shown by the victim throughout the investigation.
“I hope the knowledge that Adams will now spend a substantial amount of time behind bars will provide some comfort as she works hard to move on with her life.
“I also hope the successful outcome in this case might encourage any victims of similar offences to please come forward and report them to us.”
