The latest data, pulled from the Leeds Observatory, covers every recorded shoplifting offence across the city between November 2024 and October 2025. The figures exclude any incidents that were later cancelled, providing a clear picture of the ongoing pressure on the city's retailers.
During these 12 months, 2,535 shoplifting offences were recorded city-wide.
To help you understand the trends in your community, we have broken down the statistics by middle super output area - neighbourhoods which usually include around 2,000-6,000 households.
