Two Leeds men charged with violent disorder and stalking over 'vigilante' incidents
They appeared in court this morning
Two Leeds men have been charged with violent disorder and stalking after details of alleged sex offenders were posted online.
West Yorkshire Police said five “vigilante incidents” happened between July 21 and August 4 across Leeds.
After details were shared, large numbers of people turned up and disorder took place, a spokesperson for the force said.

Darren Cosgrove, 47, of Clover Close in Seacroft, and Jack Clarkson, 35, of Freemans Way in Wetherby, have been charged over the incidents.
They have both been charged with violent disorder, stalking and public nuisance.
Cosgrove and Clarkson appeared at Leeds Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday, August 7) and were remanded into custody.
They will next appear in Leeds Crown Court on September 4.
A police spokesperson said: “West Yorkshire Police will not tolerate violence or criminal damage and will act against anyone involved in this type of behaviour.”
