Damien Hirst's in the frame for Yorkshire Sculpture Park exhibition

Leeds's famous arty son has made a welcome return to his Yorkshire roots.

Damien Hirst grew up in the city before getting into Leeds College of Art and Design on his second attempt.

Now his work ‘Relationships’ has been unveiled at a new exhibition at Yorkshire Sculpture Park curated from the Arts Council Collection.

The At Home exhibitions mark the Collection’s 70th anniversary and also features work from Yoko Ono, Paul Rooney and Mark Wallinger.

The work marks the relaunch of the Bothy Gallery following its refurbishment, supported by Arts Council England and a public giving campaign. Once the home of the head gardener, the Bothy Gallery is a historic part of the Bretton Estate and was built around 1810.
