A body has been found in the search for a 62-year-old man from Kippax.

Police searching for Karl said a member of the public had sadly found a body in woodland near Kippax Mill Farm.

Karl, whose surname has not been disclosed, was reported missing on August 18, and an extensive search operation was launched to locate him.

His family has been informed and is being offered support.

“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal or who provided us with information,” a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson added.
