Brave firefighters helped lead a child to safety after a fire at a home in north Leeds.
At approximately 7.08pm last night, firefighters from Leeds and Moortown stations responded to reports of a house fire on Grange View, Chapeltown.

The fire broke out in the kitchen of the three-storey mid terraced property.
Responding crews found the blaze out on arrival, however led one child out of the property suffering the effects of smoke inhalation.
“They administered oxygen therapy before leaving them in the care of Yorkshire Ambulance Service,” a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said.
