Leeds road shut after crash as drivers face disruption
Motorists could get caught in disruption on Wednesday ⚠️
A crash has caused a road in Leeds city centre to be partly shut this morning.
Drivers are warned that there is disruption in Sheepscar. The eastbound carriageway of A58 Barrack Road is shut, according to Leeds City Council’s traffic updates.
Due to the closure, there is slow traffic in the area.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Connecting Leeds account warns: “Road traffic collision has resulted in the closure of the eastbound A58 Barrack Road by the junction with Chapeltown Road in Sheepscar.”
AA Traffic adds on its online map: “Road blocked and slow traffic due to crash on A58 Clay Pit Lane Eastbound from Sheepscar Street North to Barrack Road.”
