'A particularly confident kingfisher' Wildlife photographer captures stunning images in Brighouse

David Robertshaw captured these stunning images when he spotted this colourful Kingfisher swooping for fish in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.

He said: "While out photographing kingfishers, I came across a small group of people gathered along the canal, all watching a particularly confident kingfisher that was completely unfazed by the crowd.

"It repeatedly dived and caught fish right in front of everyone, offering a rare and striking example of wildlife thriving alongside people.

"It was one of those unexpected moments that really made the day."
