Jewellery taken in Dewsbury cold caller fraud
Police are investigating an allegation of fraud after an elderly woman was targeted by a cold caller in Dewsbury.
The incident happened between 10am and midday on Monday, May 2 when a man approached the elderly victim at her home address in the Dewsbury Moor area.
He offered to buy her gold jewellery from her but she declined.
The man then went into the house and removed a quantity of jewellery which he then left with. He also left a quantity of money in the property.
