Footage shows the moment a plane performed a go-around in strong winds at Leeds Bradford Airport on Friday 4 September.
In the footage, captured by YouTube channel Driftsky, the plane can be seen wobbling in the wind as it approaches the runway, before ascending back into the sky again.
A ‘go around’ is a manoeuvre where a pilot decides not to complete a landing attempt and instead takes the aircraft back into the air to make another approach or divert to an alternative airport.

The go-around manoeuvre allows pilots to abort a landing if they judge that conditions are no longer suitable for a safe touchdown. Go-arounds are a standard procedure and are practiced regularly by pilots to ensure proficiency.
Winds of over 30mph were recorded in Leeds on Friday.
