Residents are warned of disruption this morning
A road in Leeds city centre is closed due to a “police incident”.
Bus services have been disrupted this morning (June 30) following the closure. The Yorkshire Evening Post has contacted West Yorkshire Police for more information.
AA Traffic, on its online travel map, warns: “Road closed due to police incident on Wade Lane Northbound from Merrion Street to St Albans Place. Traffic is coping well.”
It is not the only disruption, with drivers also facing huge delays on M62 this morning due to an overturned vehicle.
The closure of Wade Lane comes after another road in a similar area of the city centre was shut in Leeds yesterday (June 29) due to an unsafe structure. Fire crews responded to that incident on Monday afternoon - recap all the updates here.
