Pop star Olivia Rodrigo names Leeds as city she 'wants to visit' in 2026

A pop star has named Leeds as the UK city she wants to visit most “this year” in a surprise admission.
Olivia Rodrigo, a former Disney star turned chart-topper, released her third album last week and is out on the promotional circuit. Having been one of the headliners at Glastonbury Festival in 2025, she is no stranger to the UK.
Appearing on Hits Radio’s Friday Fry-Up on June 12, she was asked about her favourite places in the country - and where she wants to visit next. In a clip shared on TikTok, the singer explains: “I’ve been around but I really need to go and see more things.
“I really want to go to Leeds this year. I think that will be fun. Just like as a spectator, that’ll be cool.”
After being encouraged to “go to a Leeds match”, she can be seen responding “yeah, ok” at the end of the clip. So perhaps, keep your eyes peeled at Elland Road once the Premier League action returns in August.
Olivia Rodrigo is set to play 11 shows at the O2 arena in London in April and May 2027. It is part of her The Unraveled world tour, which unfortunately does not include a stop at the First Direct Arena.
