A 12km hike organised by the Leeds Ukrainian Community Association (LUCA) has raised more than £1,000 to support people living in Ukraine.

The Unity Hike, which was held at Totley Rifle Range in Sheffield on May 16, was co-ordinated in partnership with members of the British military, Lithuanian Civil Action, and the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union.

With warm weather on side, the event encouraged participants to share their cultures with each other and unite amidst the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

The money raised will be used to fund humanitarian aid for Ukraine, including pickup trucks, food, and clothes.

Here are 17 fantastic photos from the Unity Hike which show the strength of community spirit.
