Family release photo of 16-year-old who died in Pontefract collision
The family of a teenager who died following a collision involving a motorbike in Pontefract have released a picture of him.
Logan Stead, aged 16, sadly passed away at the scene of the single vehicle collision on Eastbourne Terrace at 5.05pm on Monday, July 13.
West Yorkshire Police said they can confirm no further action will be taken against a 13-year-old-boy who was initially arrested as part of the investigation.
Earlier today, the Force announced that it had made a mandatory referral to the IOPC on the evening of the collision.
The motorbike involved had been sighted by officers but was not being pursued.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “Our thoughts remain with Logan’s family and friends.”
