Leeds hospice families treated to unforgettable night at Ibiza-inspired festival
‘We strive to create special memories for the children and young people’
Families supported by a Leeds hospice have been treated to a special night of live entertainment.
Martin House Children’s Hospice in Wetherby was gifted 100 free tickets to the Symphonic Ibiza event in Harrogate.
The tickets were donated by event organiser Freddy White, director of Sound & White, following a visit to the hospice earlier this summer.

Freddy visited Martin House alongside his client, Love Island star Alex Bowen, to help open a new teenage courtyard inspired by the show’s iconic villa.
The families and members of the Martin House care team travelled to the Yorkshire Showground for the event, where they enjoyed performances from artists including Heather Small and Rebecca Ferguson.
Alex Bowen also took to the decks for a DJ set before Vernon Kay followed with his own set.
The donated tickets included wheelchair-accessible spaces, allowing several young people supported by Martin House to attend the event.
Nina Hoskin, Family Support Pathway Coordinator at Martin House, said: “We're incredibly grateful to Freddy at Sound & White for organising these free tickets.

“It was a really enjoyable evening, and all the families had a fantastic time.
“At Martin House, we strive to create special memories for the children and young people we support, and their families, and generosity like this allows us to keep doing so.”
Martin House supports more than 550 children and young people with life-shortening conditions, as well as their families, across West, North and East Yorkshire, every year.
