The pub is particularly buzzing for tomorrow afternoon (April 26) when for the first time in almost forty years, Leeds United play in the FA Cup semi-final.

The team’s match against Chelsea will take place at 3pm at Wembley Stadium, but The Moot Hall Arms are planning an all day party from 10am.

Fans visiting the Moot Hall Arms on Sunday can expect a matchday atmosphere where they can watch the action on the big screen with live DJ music too.

Full of Leeds United memorabilia collected from across the world, the city centre pub is a go-to spot for fans from the city and further beyond.

Claire said: “We’ve got fans travelling from all different parts of the country because they didn’t get tickets for Wembley.

“Fans travel from all over the world just to come to the Moot - it’s an immersive experience walking into the Moot because the pub is like a shrine to Leeds United.

“Coming in here to watch the game, it feels like you’re part of something special.”

It’s a nerve wracking time for Leeds United fans because if the team wins this match, it will be the first time they reach an FA Cup inal since 1973.

However, landlady Claire is completely confident the team will win.

Claire said: “I’ve already got plans in place for the 16th of May, that’s how confident I am that we’re going to beat Chelsea on Sunday.”
