After a shaky start to the day, with thunderstorms and heavy rain overnight and into the early morning, temperatures have once again climbed into the high 20s.
As the Met Office forecasts highs of up to 30C in Leeds today (Thursday), people flocked to parks and open spaces to make the most of the sunshine this afternoon.
