England are through to the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup after an exhilarating win over co-hosts Mexico at the Azteca Stadium on Monday night.
The game, originally scheduled to kick off at 1pm BST (6pm local time), was delayed by an hour, but that didn't deter thousands of fans from staying up until the early hours of the morning.
Jude Bellingham's two goals in the space of a minute put England ahead before Mexico pulled one back, leaving the score at 2-1 at half-time.
However, captain and all-round hero Harry Kane restored England's two-goal cushion from the penalty spot before later conceding a penalty himself.
It proved enough, though, as England emerged triumphant with a 3-2 victory.
We asked Leeds to sum up the game in three words. And you did not disappoint.
