There are just two weeks to go until the 2026/27 Premier League season gets underway.
Leeds United have already made some positive signings, with goalkeeper James Trafford joining the club from Manchester City in a club-record transfer worth up to £45million.
He joins Bosnia and Herzegovina international centre-back Tarik Muharemovic and winger Harry Wilson, and fans are hopeful that more signings are on the way.
We went down to Elland Road to find out fans’ predictions ahead of the new season.
They were overwhelmingly optimistic, hopeful that Leeds can finish in the top half of the table - and even push for Europe.
Here’s what they had to say.
7. Dan Toronczak, of Bradford
"After the signings we've made this year, I'm really excited. Hopefully, I'd like to think we could finish in the top half. I'd even go as far as 7th or 8th, and getting into Europe. Really optimistic." | Steve Riding
8. John Kreeber, of Queensbury
"I think Leeds United are going to finish fourth position. Daniel Farke is a European Champions League manager and he's going to take us there, he's going to take us all the way." | Steve Riding
9. Eddie Toronczak, of Leeds
"I've been supporting Leeds since 1957. This season, because of the improvement in the goalkeeper, Harry Wilson, and the lad from Bosnia, I think we're going to finish somewhere around mid-table - probably 10th, even 9th. I think we might even push for Europe." | Steve Riding
10. Daniel Neal, of Wakefield
"I think Leeds will finish 8th. We've had a great signing with Trafford, hopefully we'll get a few more, so 8th I think is realistic for next season." | Steve Riding
11. Jeff Harrison, of Wath upon Dearne
"I think we'll finish mid-table, I'm quite happy with the signings. It might be a tough season but I'll take mid-table." | Steve Riding
12. Jamie Kerrigan, of Cross Gates
"I think we'll have a good season. I think we'll be 7th or 8th this year, I think Trafford is a great signing. If we can bolster the squad with a couple more players, the foundations are really strong and we'll have a great year." | Steve Riding
