It might not have been the perfect weather but that didn’t stop music fans from enjoying the first day of this year’s Leeds Festival.
The action at Bramham Park has kicked-off on a Thursday evening for the very first time in its long history today (August 27). Indie legends Kasabian will bring the curtain down on this historic evening.
Earlier in the day, Leeds Festival urged people to “please take care” amid thunderstorm warnings. A yellow alert remained in place throughout the opening day - with more rain forecast.
However, despite the damp start to the 2026 edition of the yearly highlight, plenty of fans braved the rain to enjoy the first acts. The Yorkshire Evening Post will be on the ground throughout the weekend bringing live coverage - follow it all here.
