Wakefield Lotto players urged to check tickets after £1m prize goes unclaimed
The huge prize was won last month
The National Lottery is appealing for anyone who bought a Lotto ticket in Wakefield to check it carefully - as a huge prize is still up for grabs.
A £1million prize from the August 8, 2026 draw remains unclaimed.
The missing ticket-holder matched five main numbers and the bonus ball in the draw to land the prize.
The winning numbers in 'Round 2' were 12, 14, 16, 22, 29, 59, with Bonus Ball 58. The person holding the ticket has until midnight on February 1, 2027, to come forward.
The National Lottery is urging anyone who bought a ticket in the area for the draw, whether they live locally or were visiting, to check their numbers.
It comes after another previously unclaimed £1million winning Lotto ticket in Wakefield was claimed by its owner last month.
