Gordon the psychic pony is the only backing England need to win Saturday’s World Cup game against Norway!
Gordon – who shares his name and his hairdo with forward Anthony Gordon – predicted an England win when they take on the Vikings in the quarter finals at 10pm UK time.
The Welsh mountain pony, whose full name is Greendown Flash, belongs to Matthew Gawthorpe, who runs Leeds firm Landlord Direct Lets.

Matthew said Gordon’s special talent came to light last weekend.
"We jokingly asked him who was going to win between England and Mexico – and every time we said ‘is it England?’ he snorted.
"So we thought we’d try asking him to predict the winner of the quarter final using buckets of feed with an England flag on one and a Norway one on the other – and he went for the England one every time!”
Matthew’s wife Charlotte and daughters Florence and Mabel are all backing Gordon to get the result right when Thomas Tuchel’s men take on Norway in Miami tonight.
"The lads will just have to watch out for Haaland,” added Matthew. “He was born in Leeds – let’s hope he’s not the one to kick us out of the competition.”
Thomas Tuchel’s side produced one of the best World Cup results in recent memory as they overcame all manner of obstacles to defeat co-hosts Mexico 3-2.
They did it battling altitude, a vociferous home crowd and Jarell Quansah’s red card early in the second half and the exhausted players collapsed on the pitch at full-time as they held on with 10 men.
England are currently enjoying a couple of days off before attention turns to Saturday’s quarter-final in Miami.
