Rail disruption between Leeds and Knottingley following reports of person hit by train
The railway line between Leeds and Knottingley is blocked this afternoon following reports of a person being hit by a train.
Northern Trains posted on social media: “Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident between Leeds and Knottingley the line is blocked
"Services running through these stations will be cancelled or delayed.”
Reports say Yorkshire Air Ambulance landed near Sharlston earlier this afternoon due to a person being struck by a train.
Emergency services are in attendance.
