Two Beeston streets celebrate after joining list of Leeds's People's Postcode Lottery jackpot winners

Two streets in Beeston have become the latest streets in Leeds to win as part of the People’s Postcode Lottery prize draw.

Players living in Waincliffe Mount, Beeston (LS11 8AH) and Parkwood Road, Beeston (LS11 5QY) were named among the People’s Postcode Lottery’s daily prize winners on February 5 and 7 respectively.

Winning residents have scooped £1,000 per ticket, up to a maximum of £6,000, and the winnings will soon arrive in their bank accounts. They join Esholt Avenue, Guiseley among the city’s February winners thus far.

Four lucky streets were named among the city’s January winners, while six claimed victory in December and 10 in November.

The People's Postcode Lottery is a subscription lottery which costs £12.25 per month to play. People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.

At least 33 per cent of the ticket price goes to a worthy cause and players of the People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £1.2billion to date for charities and organisations.
