Children will be able to activate and play within the artwork on ‘Brewery Green’, opposite The Tetley gallery in central Leeds.
The project has been given a boost thanks to a donation of £15,000 from the Asda Foundation towards the £20,000 cost of production and installation.

“It’s difficult to put into words just how beneficial it is for the wider community to work with and be supported by local businesses such as Asda – especially as they are a Yorkshire-based business too.”
The Tetley, a centre for contemporary art and learning in the former Tetley Brewery, is operated and curated by Project Space Leeds (PSL), a contemporary arts and education charity. The application to the Asda Foundation by PSL was supported by Asda House.
Set up in 1988, the Asda Foundation is a registered charity that aims to have a positive impact on local communities, making independent grants to provide support to a range of local good causes, chosen by Asda’s community life colleagues throughout the UK.
