Former Chapeltown social club to become five-bedroom family home after council approval
The site was previously used as a family home
A former social club can be turned into a family home after plans were agreed with the council.

The property on Grange View in Chapeltown will be converted into a five-bedroom house after planning permission was granted.
Housing Leeds applied to redevelop the vacant building near Potternewton Park.
Planning documents said the site was previously used as a family home.
A design report said: “The proposal seeks to bring the property into use as high-quality accommodation to meet identified housing needs whilst making effective use of an existing residential dwelling.
“No external alterations are proposed, and the development will remain in keeping with the character and appearance of the surrounding residential area.”
The report said the existing building could accommodate bedrooms with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.
It said: “The proposal involves the change of use of the existing vacant dwelling, a former social club, to provide accommodation for up to five-seven residents within a managed social housing setting.
“Before the property was converted and extended into a social club, this property was a family home.
“The property will therefore be converted back to its original use.”
Change-of-use planning permission was granted in a Leeds City Council decision issued on October 6.
