Leeds local election results 2026: Full list of Leeds City Council election results confirmed
Discover who won the seat in your Leeds City Council ward 🗳️
After voters flocked to polling stations in Leeds for this year’s local elections, the results are now in.
Seats in all 33 wards in the city council were up for grabs - with three further vacancies also set to be filled. The polls shut at 10pm last night (May 7) and the results were declared throughout Friday (May 8) afternoon.

Labour’s council stronghold was lost after they fell from 56 seats to 48 - shy of the 50 they needed to maintain an overall majority.
Discussions on future options, including whether to form a minority administration, run by Labour, or a coalition council between the parties, are due to take place ahead of the next council meeting on May 20.
Greens and Reform UK both made significant gains in key areas including Headingley and Morley respectively, while the Conservative opposition retained their seats.
