Plans submitted for the former NatWest Bank in Chapel Allerton
A former bank could be turned into a shop and flats if plans can be agreed with the council.
Permission is sought for the conversion of the former NatWest branch in Chapel Allerton into a retail unit with apartments above.

The bank was shut down in April as part of a national programme of branch closures. A cash machine at the site at 52 Harrogate Road was also removed.
Plans for the site would see the building of two upstairs flats and a separate ground floor apartment.
A planning report said: “The proposal seeks to bring a vacant building back into active use, combining a ground-floor commercial unit with three self-contained residential flats above and to the ground floor rear.”
The existing frontage of the building onto Harrogate Road would be retained, the report said.
Potential retail tenants would be approached if a full planning application is granted by Leeds City Council.
People living in the new flats would be near a bus stop and opposite Lidl supermarket and the Three Hulats pub.
The report said: “The property occupies a prominent position along Harrogate Road, within an established local centre that includes a range of retail, service and residential uses.
“The site is highly accessible, with a bus stop directly outside offering frequent services to Leeds city centre and surrounding districts.”
