A64 Tadcaster: Two miles of congestion near Leeds with delays and diversions after crash
Drivers are being warned of delays after a crash on a major route near Leeds.
The A64 in North Yorkshire is closed westbound between the A659 and the A162 near Tadcaster, due to the collision. Emergency services were called to the scene.
Congestion is currently stretching over two miles and drivers are being told to expect delays of more than 20 minutes, National Highways said on Twitter.

The tweet said a diversion route is in place for drivers to follow while a scene is in place.
People travelling along the route are being advised to exit the A64 at the Tadcaster Bar Junction exit slip road and then merge with the A659.
After merging with the A659 , National Highways are asking drivers to carry on for around three miles to the junction with the A64 (Headley Bar Junction) then, at the junction, continue onto the slip road and re-join the A64.
The diversion route is marked with a solid square diversion symbol on road signs, the tweet added.
UPDATE: The route has now been reopened according to National Highways.
