Aer Lingus has announced its new transatlantic summer schedule for 2026, including a new route from Leeds Bradford Airport.

As part of its largest-ever transatlantic summer schedule for 2026, Aer Lingus will be offering a brand new route from Leeds to Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, via Dublin.

Connections can be made from 13 UK airports including: Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Southampton, Liverpool John Lennon, Isle of Man, Exeter, Cornwall Airport Newquay, and Heathrow.

Aer Lingus has also added additional capacity to many existing routes for summer 2026, operating its largest transatlantic schedule to date in response to demand and market opportunities.

Lynne Embleton, CEO of Aer Lingus, added: “We’re delighted to be adding Raleigh-Durham International Airport to our growing North American network.

“It’s a vibrant and thriving region with well-established links to Ireland, that will be further strengthened with our new direct service.”

Customers choosing to connect at Dublin can take advantage of US pre-clearance, allowing customers to pre-clear all US immigration and customs formalities, meaning you’re effectively on US soil once you're cleared.

Taking off in April 2026, the new year-round route will operate up to five times weekly and bring the total number of routes Aer Lingus operates to North America to 26.

Aer Lingus currently operates Leeds Bradford Airport, via Dublin, routes to Nashville, Indianapolis and Cancun, Mexico.
